Regenerative capacity of the central nervous system of mammals, and humans are very limited, which leads to serious consequences that result in diseases and injuries of the brain and spinal cord. Neurotransplantation is a powerful tool in solving basic and clinical neuroscience problems. Today a variety of approaches are used: transplantation of cell suspension (obtained in the dissociation of the embryonic brain), or transplantation of fragments of fetal neural tissue at different stages of development. Analysis of the development of embryonic neural tissue and the mutual influence of donor-recipient is crucial.
